When you first arrive at Infinite Eye Care, you will be greeted by a staff person and asked to fill out a history form, which asks you about your visual symptoms, lifestyle, and family / personal medical history. This information will be used to better discover any unique historical conditions you and your family may have. With this knowledge, our Doctors and Staff can "tune in" to your unique needs, and offer you great vision now and into the future. Don't worry, Infinite Eye Care is HIPPA compliant and will not share this information with anyone unless medically necessary.
In our special testing center, we have instruments that will safely and softly determine if you are a person who should be concerned about glaucoma, a disease that undetected, can cause vision impairment and blindness. This special equipment will also give us an estimation of what type of prescription might help you to see your best. Our doctors will use this information later.
Our next technology is the addition of retinal photography. Simply put, this takes photos of the back of your eyes enabling us to better detect and monitor your eye health for problems and changes that could lead to visual loss. This is a benefit to our patients now and in the future, plus it helps patients understand what we are looking for in their visual health system.
We will then bring you in to meet our doctors and use the information that we have acquired thus far and begin your ocular health and vision testing.
Our doctor will use an instrument called a phoropter to refine our earlier tests, finding the best possible lens prescription to make you see the best that you can.
Dr Johnson wants to find out as much health information about your eyes as possible. He will then use an instrument called a biomicroscope to better assess the overall health of the eyes. This helps determine if there is anything we can do now or should consider in the future to assure you a life of the best vision possible.
Dr Johnson will then use an instrument called an Indirect Opthalmoscope to further assess the health of the eyes, especially in the most peripheral portion of the retina. The retina is the nerve layer on the back of the eye which gathers light and then transfers the information to the brain.
Dr Johnson will then explain your eye health, using models and retinal photos (taken earlier in your exam) so that you understand what we are looking at and what concerns we should watch for in the future to maintain a lifetime of healthy eyes and good vision.
After you understand your options and recommendations, we will take you out to Infinite Eye Care's Optical boutique and show you frame and lens options that will make you look as good as you will see.

d. Once you have made your selection from our dispensary, We will get your custom prescription put into your new frame and when they arrive, adjust the frame to your face so that it is a perfect fit every time.
Of course, as you put your new glasses on and off for a long time, they will shift and need to be readjusted from time to time in the coming months. Just bring them in and we will make them like new again.... for FREE. Our goal is to make you look good and see as well as possible. We will also encourage scheduled eye appointments in the coming years, to assure your eyesight the best chance of longevity. Infinite Eye Care will actually schedule you for your next needed eye exam so that you don't even have to worry about it. It's already in our Computer system and we will notify you.
